How This Course Works

This course takes you through all the phases of starting a running your own cleaning referral agency. Each lesson (and supporting downloads) can be purchased separately from the shop page, or altogether assembled into a cohesive, sequential online course found right here. 

 

If you're already up and running but not sure if you have your foundations properly set up, I would recommend taking this full course. However if you're confident in your foundations, then select only the lessons/content you want to develop more from the shop page.

Set up in an 8 week program for you to get up and running with solid systems in place. Each lesson will include relevant homework assignments and supporting downloadable documents. Wherever possible I give you content that I actually use in my own business and tips & tricks I've learned along the way. The goal is to shorten the timeline from when starting out to six figures and working 4 hours a week. When I started, there was no such training for Referral Agencies.

  • Softwares needed to run your business efficiently

  • What Diem uses in her RA & why she chose them

Week #4 

Pricing for Profitability 

  • How to conduct market research in your local area

  • How much to pay cleaners in order to attract talent & increase retention

  • How much to charge clients in order to maximize revenue and close sales

  • How to handle promotional discounts. Should they effect cleaner's pay?

  • Determine hourly rate vs flat rate pricing, which one is better?

  • Pricing grid for online bookings, eliminate over charging or undercharging

Week #5 

Sales & Terms of Service 

  • In home estimates vs phone sales vs online booking

Week #6 

Recruiting cleaners 

  • Job post- clearly explains to cleaning candidates the expectations & benefits of working with your Agency

  • Screening questions- to ensure that lead is qualified for an interview

  • Interview questions- ensure their business practices will line up with your reputation 

  • Reference check questions- spot fake references, ensure quality cleaners without having to conduct test cleans

  • Orientation- show them how to work with your agency and set expectations

  • Check for understanding questionnaire for cleaners- to ensure they acknowledge an independent working relationship

  • On-boarding checklist- to ensure all cleaner files are properly put together

  • Reinforcing culture of working relationship to ensure clear understanding and limit liability

Stage 5: Maturity 

Hire Virtual Assistants. Track Key Performance Indicators. Work less. 

  • Hiring VAs and assign duties-where to post jobs, what to look for and interview questions for VAs

  • Guideline for the first 3 days of on-boarding a Virtual Assistant 

  • Key performance indicators- actual excel spreadsheet for you to fill out and track performance

  • Time management- how to cut back to working 4 hours and what you do in that time

What’s not included:

  • Things you have to do or create: ie website, logo, explainer video etc.

  • My automation systems. In the course I tell you what you need to do for automation but if you want to use my system specifically it requires you to use the same software I do. So for the sake of freedom of choice, I've left that automation course out and can be purchased separately
